Met him once (badoof-name drop), for about 13 seconds at one of those acoustic evenings that used to happen somewhere. (Details remain way sketchy.) Anyway, the nicest oke you'll ever spend 13 seconds discussing attack technique with. He wasn't playing acoustic that night, and no one was coping, not even a mouse. 'Twas hectic; tone for decades, a beat-up looking Strat and this teeny li'l amp with tweed cloth. Man. Still remember it like it was only 8 years ago.
I agree fully - if I could make a plan to go, and not freeze to death - I'd be there in a heartbeat

All nice guys, been to 2 guitar weekends and I go to dan's shows whenever it all fits in and he always says hi.
His international star is also on the rise, just needs a little push and he will be in the big leagues I reckon
