takes 3 strats to sound as good as one LP ?
Thought its about time to show my baby.

When I bought an Epi Les Paul back in 2004 is was a plain top black standard. There was electronics problems on it so took it back to the shop, they sent it to the agents and the agents sent this beauty back to me, DID NOT COMPLAIN!!! I always liked the tobacco burst Les Pauls but when I saw the honey burst on her I was smitten. Over the years she's had a few refinements. Graph tech nut installed(do it to all my guitars), had a pro setup done and installed Seymour Duncan Jazz and JB pickups and had the Jimmy Page wiring done, quite versatile. And so she has stayed and probably will stay.

Even though I consider myself a Stratman, whenever I go on stage or into the studio, I grab the Les Paul first. That neck and the sound is just awesome.

That's what I like to hear. ? Really nice looking LP.
honeyburst is one of my favourite colours for an lp. and that's a rather splendid example of the species...
Nice. Wine red is a fine colour in a Les Paul. Very elegant.

You may have to fix 'em one more time... Your pictures are showing up backward ? ? ?

Nah... I joke... Love it. ?
I've had a bit of work done on her, so really want to take some new pics. Kinda waiting for the grass outside to go green and some nice sun to take some proper shots. Any other suggestions for how to get a good guitar pic?

Try taking them when it's overcast or when there's no direct sun (like behind your house when the sun is in the front.) it works for some ?
Something about lefty fiddles that give me brain cramps

They just look wrong. Errr .. nice fiddle though
Ha, I'll try to take that as a compliment... ???

Has anyone found something with a similar sound to the '57 Classic+ for the bridge, but with a touch more low end? I'm happy with the neck, but just need a little more edge and grunt in the bridge, but not too much more.

                            Open type Zebra Mk11 pups ( neck : 7.01 K and Bridge ; 10.89 k ) ... a nice combination , sounds great imo
Weight : 4.0 kg exactly . A decent weight , considering its not weight relieved at all .
That guitar does sound killer, Joel .... next up on my shopping list !! :applause:
Joel, how balanced do you find the pickups with such a big difference in output? That sunburst reminds me of the Bourbon burst Gibson did a while back, very nice.
Now that you've got an LP again, don't sell it again in 3 weeks bud ?
