A very, very beginner guitar player ?

I've been slack and not practiced for ages so maybe being here will help me to get on board again. I played violin for 10 years so I hope some of that carries over and I don't suck too much.

= (Prelude from lute suite 4) and = (Asturias) got me good and proper a couple of months ago. Amazing.

Anyone teach guitar in East London? ? Alas I am the worst teacher in the world so no violin teaching for me ?

I posted a video of John williams playing Asturias a while back in the Youtube videos section. I started to learn it a while back.The problem is not to learn it but to do al the tremolo with cold winter fingers.I have to warm up real long before I play it. If your are going to learn it tell me were you get stuck or how you interperet certain parts ?

I had no idea who you were speaking of, Wessel and Alan, soI googled her and found her official site (http://www.greatkat.com/). Holy @#$%^ !!!! After name checking every great classical composer of the past, she describes herself thus:

"The Only FEMALE Musical Revolutionary, Inventor of "Shred/Classical" Music - Bringing Classical Music to the Masses and the NEW BEETHOVEN of the 21st Century!"

Some guy from Classic Guitar: "Likes blood. And Beethoven ...". Guitar Player magazine: "She can zoom up and down a fretboard faster than a hungry cheetah on steroids"!!

And the scary photos!!!!!! Could you imagine this one playing in a symphony orchestra??

I've never heard her play, and aim to keep it that way!
