The humour is there for the Back 2 Back Backing Track challenge.
Seeing that there was a fair amount of difficulty finding royalty free backing tracks, @Meticus went with...
create backing tracks sans rhythm/lead guitar
I don't know if we have ever done any full tracks without any guitar in them, it's a novel idea?
I think the idea originated with @NorioDS suggesting the topic to create a few royalty free Guitartalk sourced tracks for another future backing track challenge. So the challenge after this one might be using these , but probably not - likely we'll bank these tracks for a rainy day later this year. Also gives you loads of time to practice to one that you might like!

No genre restrictions or recording equipment restrictions. Use the interface, use the cellphone - it's all good.
P.s. Collaborations are welcomed!

Then grab the SoundCloud link and reply here with the link pasted in your reply. **If possible, make your track public - that way I can make a playlist up. 🏅Prizes: None this month, just the ever increasing infamy of winning a GuitarTalk Challenge! But wait....there's more - you even get the doubly dubious distinction of selecting the next challenge topic. If you ask for more, welllll...you will recieve, your winning entry will also feature in the annual GuitarTalk playlist - wow-wee! :crying:
Anyone can enter this competition. You just need a guitar and a phone. But any other recording equipment is fine too. Collaborations with fellow members or anyone you can recruit is encouraged!
Good luck and beeg enjoy to all the entrants!
