Wow! Awesome tracks guys... Had a tough time deciding. Very creative!
The Paul Bothner sponsored April Challenge - Category 2 [VOTE]
Very difficult time deciding in this specific round...
but i think i may have one!

Springsteen, Summers and Frusciante all nailed the brief IMO - tough choice between the three for me. Liked the Sitar in Angus. Beck's good, but too electric.
Frusciante is good stuff
Now the brief makes more sense! I reckon Springsteen gets this one.
Agree with Hammeron - Springsteen for cat. 2 and Holly for cat. 1 for me.
At this point would like to thank Adrian for the tremendous effort that you're putting in to this.
Hopefully even more entries next month then!

Hey Adrian, love the changes you've made to the format! Well done man.
Haven't listened to any entries yet but will try to get my votes in tonight. Nice to see so many of them 8)

Flip! The quality of these entries are superb. For me Springsteen is the clear winner though!
Can I just say that I love this new "double blind" format. You don't know who you're voting for, only which song. And you don't know who others have voted for or which entry is leading on votes until voting closes.
Maybe just a suggestion Adrian; To me the name of a song is every bit as much art of the song as the actual tune and recording. Perhaps in future you could include that as well, as in "Springsteen - Distant Wind"?

I agree about the song name, this is all still in the teething process. Although not everyone had a song name, unless you interpret 'GFSA_April 2014' to be a good song name ?
LOL, yes I realise not everyone provides a name. If someone does though I think it shouldn't be dropped though. Also, maybe we should encourage people to give titles to their entries.Adrian Rogowski wrote: I agree about the song name, this is all still in the teething process. Wow, it goes to show how taste has such a big role to play. Summers was by FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR my favorite. Nice One!
Congratulations to Manfred (aka Springsteen) for winning this month's challenge. It was a well deserved victory - a truly good piece. I will contact you shortly about arrangements.
