Muhammed, of Necrophagist, is one of the most influential death metal players ever. He’s of Turkish decent, grew up in Germany, and started playing at the age of 10. Muhammed, like many others, had largely been influenced by Mister Malmsteen, and this is clearly evident in his neo-classic style fret board-mastery.
Suiçmez also handless vocal duties for Nocrophagist, and has a very distinctive and powerful voice. The thing that sets him apart from all the other shredders in this over-populated genre is the fact that his writing is rather fresh and original, his guitar-tone is amazing, and his ability to play all his work exactly like it sounds on the album, is a quality still evading many players…
Necrophagist won’t be to easy on everyone’s ears, but this is definitely a band and sound worth getting used to.

He is a talented guy, and his music is not for the faint hearted.

I have mentioned him allot before. But his talent will almost always not be seen becuase of the band's vocal tipe and genre. His solo on fermented oval discharge is the best solo I have ever heard....And I have been looking.

I second that, here's Necrophagist playing Fermented Oval Dischagre in New York, (the entire show is availible for download on bunalti.com BTW...) Just listen to the solo itself, it's prettymuch flawless, and playing solo's perfectly live really isn't a walk in the park...
Here's a video containing numerous of Mohammed's chops, and although some will refer to it as bubbly or mindless widling or whatever, it still pretty much sets the standard for metal-influenced noodlers all-over... I dare anyone to fault this.
And here's my personal favourite, Stabwound, taken from the album Epitaph.. Overall, the musicianship is prettymuch insane.... Enjoy, and please comment...
