Hey Everyone
Name is Brent, nick is JohnnyReggae. I've been trying to teach myself to play guitar for a few years now. Haven't been to successful, but I keep trying. Don't have any pics of my kit but a quick breakdown.....
Epiphone Goth Les Paul
Cort Steel string Acoustic
Johnson Classical
and a very prized possession which was given to me by my Dad, a Hank Marvin Signature Burns (1965).
My taste is music varies a lot but centers around Death and Doom Metal mostly, but also includes reggae, rock, classic rock, gothic, indie, alternative, trip-hop, psytrance..... As for playing... I play what I can which currently is not to much but includes ... The Cure, Jack Johnson, Offspring, Nirvana, Six Feet Under, Slayer.... Don't be fooled by the list though as I can mostly only play pieces of songs and not entire songs. Have also written a few songs (no lyrics), currently around 15 or so, which are probably not any good so you won't be hearing them for a while ?
Need to spend more time practicing but I have a number of other hobbies/sports which take up a lot of my spare time, most notably Mountain Unicycling which for me is the ultimate sport.
I'm sure I'll be chatting to a few of you online and hopefully be able to get some useful tips and info here.
Cheers
Brent
