Also, because this is a guitar forum, GEAR:
The acoustic is a Taylor 214CE-DLX-K.
Nearly every electric guitar sound on the album is an American Standard Tele with upgraded pickups (Fender Original Vintage - fairly cheap, but I shot them out with CS Nocasters and others and they just work better in this guitar than anything else/anything more expensive) and a Callaham vintage-style bridge (which is really the biggest and best upgrade I ever did - what a noticeable change!).
I did use a 1972 Fender Strat (also with a Callaham bridge) in a couple of places. The other guitarist also used his Gibson Les Paul Standard for his parts.
Drive sounds were nearly all provided by a Klon KTR, with an Xotic Effects SL Drive and occasionally a BB Preamp used to thicken the stew. I also used an EP Booster, though very sparingly, to change things up.
Amp was a Dr Z Maz 18 NR combo, along with a Vox MV50 through a Jensen C12K-loaded cab.
