We're getting some more content posted 'round here (Yay! ?), but it's likely you may still be coming to grips with the syntax that our new forum software (flarum) uses. Sadly there's no editor anymore - but fret not...it's easy!
Called Markdown and developed in the early 2000's it's become a standard for writing content. I've just started getting into Markdown - must admit, I like! It's a sub-set of bbcode/html functionality intended only for writing (vs publishing,, which is what html/bbcode is intended for).
Note: You can still use bbcode if you like too. The forum supports both
If you want colours, you 'll need to use bbcode. Same again if you want to change the size of some text.
The 8 step tutorial is real cool, everything has a interactive example to play with - , it's fairly straight forward once you get into it.

One thing that I missed initially was that....<clear spaces> are part of the syntax!
