Thanks Guys,

@guidothepimmp, LRBaggs Anthem on my Faith Venus. I replaced the standard pickup. Straight into Focusrite Scarlet 18i8. As clean as possible, slight Compressor and EQ. I am using Reaper.

@Stoffeltoo cool variation on the original, nice and moody
@stud good one

Hokay, here it is.. my first ever attempt at using DAW.. and at singing (bleh)..

I got my Mrs and my boy to do some cameo appearances ? . Trust me to have my first entry when there are so many good entries lol.
*Edit... in case youre wondering where the cheesy lyrics are from.. I misinterpreted the super cheesy requirement and thought we needed some improv.. ?

Oh wow.. so many great entries..
This month is going to be super tough making any sort of choice..

    studmissile Dunno what braas plugin youre using but it really gives this song the right vibe. well done indeed. BTW, do I hear a tele on the riff?

    Here's my contribution, a heavyish cover of Queen's Show Must Go On.
    I recorded the vocals around two and a half years ago, when I performed it on stage in a pantomime but never did anything with it because the backing track I used was down 3 semis (I'm no Freddy) and got a little bubbly. So when the Ambitious challenge came up I thought it was the perfect opportunity to dust it off and build something to support them. I've tried to keep elements of the original while giving it a distinct flavour of my own.

    Yeti Great vocals and exquisite guitar lead.
    Not one of the easiest Queen tunes and really well produced and mixed.
    I need to learn from the masters....?

    Dig the tongue 'n cheek, great blues playing guidothepimmp.

    Queen? Wow! Talk about a tall order, very impressive Yeti

    klaasvakie Joh! Head bumping, butt thumping and air pumping. You had everything bopping in my man cave! Simply awesome and yeah, sometimes less is more.

    Wow, just gave all the entries (so far) a good listen and I'm super impressed. There is so much to love in every track and I'm jealous of all your guys playing, singing as well as your recording chops. Some serious effort went into these, well done all.
