Howzit,

I'm back on about the amps, I've gotten closer to buy an amp......YATAAAAAAAAAA!!! :roflmao:

Wich one would you guys suggest:

Ibanez 100W [Not shure about the model, has 2x12 with a Hot Channel thingy] or a Roland Cube-60.

Both are R3900......

Sumi-masen for bothering again.

?
    Hi bENDER,

These are both nice amps, I will assume that the 100w Ibanez is a toneblaster.
If had to pick one of the 2 amps I would go with the Roland Cube.

I have played on the cube before and realy like the amp.

    Before bying try both amps.
The cube hands down.. I used to have a toneblaster, but it really lacked something...
        Gracias me Hombres!!!

All the comments really helped me make up my mind...... ??? I have a slight problem choosing between stuff.
          Hey bENDER

seems like it's cubed then. I am thinking of getting the 30 Watt cube for practice.
          Help me choose then! ?

            Yataaaaaaaaa!!!

At last, my greatest invention, I mean decision...... ???

The CUBE60 ROcKs, I am very happy with it..........MEAN punch for a 60W.

Now another Axe.....That Ibanez X with the fixed bridge looks like a winner. Hehehe.
Cubes will one day grow arms and legs and rule the world! Would be awesome if Roland made a Tube Cube

                Tube cube FTW dude!
I have a baby Cube 15 and even though I love the little thing, some days I find myself wishing it was a "Tube Cube 15"

Congrats bender, hope you enjoy it!

Somehow I think that's unlikely - unless demand is huge. They are putting lots of resources into modelling.

I see Roland cubes for bass guitar as well. I think I saw a 100W cube and just felt perhaps a bass guitar wants a bit more than that. Surely it would be better than the 65W Laney I use for practise in my room, but could I take it along and play in the band with it or do I really need 200Wplus...?
Depends on how loud you need to go. I've always found 100W to be a bit too underpowered for band use, unless you also line out to the PA to flesh it out or have a very restrained drummer.
Thanx Alan. I'm plugging in to a 300W amp in the band room and that seems way more than adequate.
I saw a Fender M80 and it's 160watt with 15" speaker on gumtree I think that should keep up.
It's just for practise in my own room but if I want to come out for a jam the little Laney won't do it. :?
Marshall Music have the Ashdown range of Bass Amplifiers

                          One that might suit you is the Electric Blue. 180W @ 4ohms / 100W @ 8ohms.

We have one at church in our minor hall and it rocks. Plenty of juice to play over a live drum kit.

It is a very well priced amplifier.
