- 1968 Hofner 12 string. Removed the faulty pots and have the bridge pick up going straight to the jack. Will have to play through a di box. Fitted a little support under the bridge to try and correct the belly bulge. Fitted strings and using it while I ponder the next move. The plane was to tune it to open C for a specific song but still not happy with the action. Might fit a G-Tone pick up system and light gauge strings but don't see it being used on stage as such just yet :(

I have two bands and am more than willing to set up the entire rig whenever we get together.

Chris - I have a luvly band called Bluerocracy and we play kind of Fleetwood Mac, John Mayall, JJ Cale, Eric Clapton blues.
I have played bass guitar previously in a couple of blues bands and I do miss those days.
Currently I'm doing rhythm and lead vocals in the band and trying to get to grips with the harmonica.
Just kidding, I ain't about to leave my mowntin. I've twice before migrated to the Vaal and I keep on returning.

I LUV the Yamahas ? - Mine had a terrible hum when it was new, I dismantled the pickups and shielded the cavities.
