It is with a warm fuzzy feeling inside that I present to you the March Challenge. Thanks to all that entered, you surely made it all the more enjoyably. This was a difficult challenge, one that got the better of me, so the fact that they had entered is an accomplishment in itself. Voting will close on Monday. Without delay, I present, the challengers:

This was quite a tough challenge! Here's my best effort. I spent a lot of time reading and trying to figure out the difference between boogie and shuffle, but if I have drifted into shuffle timing, please do forgive me!
I tried to go for an off-kilter, carnival-type feel. I wanted to incorporate more brass and big band elements, but my composition skills with orchestral sounds is still very much in development.
Instruments used:
Drums, rhythm and lead guitars, bass
Upright bass
Orchestral elements (tuba, trumpets, trombone, french horn, violin, timpani)

Here's my entry, didn't get a chance to work on or finish it so it's still rough.
