Hey everyone... I found this forum by accident while googling for a Epi LP Studio and thought I'd join ?

I'm a 26 year old programmer in Bloem who recently decided to get out of a funk and start playing music. I was fortunate enough to score a Japanese Fender Strat (from my fiance who no longer plays) and have been playing for about... 8 months.

Like all guitarist, I think I suck... but I still love to play and pratice each day religously.

I get the Lacuna Coil comment alot. But alas... not a big fan... I've had this nick since... about 1998 before I even knew about the band. So it's just a cool coincidence.

Hey guys... thanks for the welcome man.

And yes, this is planet rock, but for all the wrong reasons ?

And yes, I'm a walking stereotype, programmer, gamer, guitarist (well not yet really), etc etc.

I higly doubt I'll ever sell Hennie (the white fender), but if anyone is intrested in gifting me a LP Studio, please don't hesitate.

BTW: My other gear includes:

Marshall Park 40 Watt amp
Korg AG5X multifx pedal

I'm also in a mailing group from a bunch of xbox friends where we submit cover songs/homework assignments every 2 weeks.

I lived and studied in Bloem for 6 years and we had some serious rock bands there in my time (90's). Left it for the Cape a few years ago but still have some fond memories.
