Great rendition of the Beatles' Let it Be on cello and violin. The violinist is 15 and the cellist is 16 and they do a great job and are obviously having an absolute ball playing.

Absolutely. He does have an annoying habit of getting a little too cloyingly twee at times though. In the Beatles Lennon added the edge. When it comes to the harmonies and arrangement though, I think George Martin had an often overlooked but huge influence on the songs.X-rated Bob wrote: I might also add that it just goes to show what great musicality Paul McCartney can produce. It may be revisionism, or it may be the truth ? but what I understand is that at as time went by Paul in particular had more and more input into the arrangements. Thing was he couldn't write music down properly, so he'd whistle or hum parts to Martin who would then transcribe them so that the orchestral players they often hired would have a proper score to work from.Alan Ratcliffe wrote:Absolutely.
