I am far too OCD to have my pedals facing any other way than straight. Maybe it's also my need to be adored! I am so close to painting faces of awe on my pedals :?
- In NSCD!That looks amazing, post some sound clips so that we can hear it
- That is fantastic!!!! :woohoo:
- That is an amazing guitar. May I ask why you went with the green, which I love, instead of the classic Tremonti Charcoal Burst?
- Thanks dude
- Thank you so much man!!!! Rocking out with Eric Clapton today 8)
- Hey everyone,
I would be honoured if you would listen to my very first instrumental track called Summer Love.
Any constructive feedback is welcomed with open arms
Dirk - Kill it! Kill it with fire!
Here is my contribution:
= - I was there, my sister and I were standing at the counter near the door.
I thought they were fantastic, they will do very well imho
I agree with the bass being too low in the mix along with Kelly's voice, her harmonies are amazing. Rob is an incredible guitar player that does much without doing a lot ?
We were the ones that started clapping during their cover of Etta James' At Last - Hello Sweet World - Gangs of Ballet
- I will be there too, I am huge fan of Lacey May
- I am not much of a Green Day fan but completely agree with this freak out. Seriously, they have been around for ages and have had such an impact on the music scene. Yes music has moved on and the times have changed so maybe the organisers should not have included them on the bill but finally.... Rock Stars doing what they do best, wrecking shit! ?
When did rock stars ever have to be professional? - I have taken my guitars to Grant since he was at Smashing Guitars and I refuse to use anyone else!
Grant is the best!
I still have it and love it but for the upcoming gigs I am liking the TS808/Crunch Box combo, I feel like they hit a bit harderMr T wrote: I do recall you having a Zendrive clone. Did you take it off to simplify your setup or was it just not working for you?
Trust me, it is taking everything in me not to put as many pedals as I can on there. Trying to keep it simple!Mr T wrote: Pretty sweet setup you have there Dr D. 8) That pedalboard would be a huge problem for my OCD though...all that space waiting to be filled with more pedals! ?
Yes, I got it from Gareth. I traded my PRS SE for it and it was totally worth it. This amp kills!IceCreamMan wrote: That Vox looks very familiar, u get it from a chap in Benoni?
If its the same one have listend to that vox on a number of occasions and it delivers!!!- Hey everyone,
I thought I would take the time to post a few pics of the gear I am currently using:
VOX AC30 cc1
Pedalfarm pedalboard including: MI Audio Crunch Box, TS808, BOSS CS-3, CryBaby, Boss DD-20 (Check out www.pedalfarm.co.za, they are awesome)
2010 Gibson Les Paul Studio
Washburn Jumbo
- Ok, my turn to take a bullet or two or three, here are my confessions:
The Beatles
Metallica
Dire Straits
There are elements that I enjoy from each of these bands and yes I can play a couple of their songs but if I never heard them again, I would not be upset.
*lights cigarette, puts on blind fold and faces the firing squad* - It will definitely help wit your guitar playing. I started playing drums out of necessity (lack of drummers at my previous church) and it really has helped with my timing and understanding of time signatures
- I have had this CD on repeat in my car and I cannot get enough of it!
Yes, his stuff with the Trio is incredible but his song writing abilities are amazing. When you get a John Mayer CD you expect it to be dripping with guitar solos but it shows how much of a great guitarist he is, not to have solos all the time but to have the listener engaged right from the beginning by layering incredible musical parts.
One of my favourite albums of the year so far...
