My name is Wynand
I have been messing around with guitars since I was twice ?
I’ve always found myself stuck between two worlds, the one where I can just sit for hours and practice tunes and riffs.
And the other, ever contradicting, rat race where you never feel like making the time to do the things you love.
I've been part of a garage band where I invested in some recording equipment and recorded a handful of self composed and
cover music. But like the other 95%, our paths went separate ways- leaving everyone with that ever persistent 'itch' in ones veins.
My Instruments include a Fender Stratocaster 50th Anniversary(1954 re-issue)
A pevey212 special valve state amp (wow, the Americans understand tone)
a few cheap acoustic guitars and some equipment to send it all to my pc to play around in Cubase.

Hi Wynand, welcome to the forum.
Well it sounds like you are set up for recording. Don't worry, I think we all get stuck sometimes with no time to do the things we really want to and little inclination to force it. AFAIC, the important thing is you enjoy whatever you do when you do it.

Can definitely relate, Wynand! Had to rob some time away from paying work today to record. Sometimes you just have to force it.
