It's a matter of priorities. Consider the various skills you have to master...PeteM wrote:Maybe the time is better spent learning your chords and words in the first place ?X-rated Bob wrote: As with all truly worthwhile things it will take a little practice, but that practice WILL pay off.
Bob I see we have some understanding of modern rock bands...X-rated Bob wrote: Maybe the time is better spent learning your chords and words in the first place ?
It's a matter of priorities. Consider the various skills you have to master...Clearly something has to give. There aren't enough hours in the day.
- Looking cool
- Getting girl's phone numbers
- Filthy looks at the sound guy
- Blaming the drummer
- Words, chords, scales, modes, note values (commonly referred to as "stuff")
- Hammers and pulls to free up your right hand for drinking
Maybe you get distracted by deep philosophical questions. Like "who put the Onan in Ronan?"DonovanB wrote: Pete, ja you're right, sometimes I just hit a blank. Especially if it's a Ronan Keating song. Maybe it's psychological? ???

Nice indeed! A one-piece ash body and the proper 50's style contouring. Well worth hanging on to.Joop wrote: Alan, Some pics of the '54
