I recently left my band in Welgemoed and I'm looking for someone to jam with on Saturday afternoons.
I love the blues and can play rock old and new, but I'm not keen on heavy metal.

I'm 50, so no Idols wannabe, no aspirations of glory, no travelling band, no delusions of grandeur.

Just a Saturday afternoon jam... ?

What do you play? I assume guitar? I have a mate thats been beating drums for a while, I haven't actually checked him out though, will see if I can sort out a drummer.

I can play a bit of blues harp, and I am busy trying my hand at vocals. Also mess about on a slide guitar, but not in public yet ?

I'm in Sonstraal, Durbanville, and would be keen to give this a bash if we can get something hooked up.

Been playing rhythm guitar for years and recently bought a bass guitar and amp and playing along with John McVee.
I could surely benefit a drummer somewhere... ?

I posted it in this (bass) section as I want to jam along with a drummer...
but if it's an impromptu blues jam I'll rather bring a dreadnought along. ?

I was playing bass in a band in Welgemoed until recently and had to quit because of work commitments.
I'm still not able to make it to practices during the week but I have Saturday afternoons available and I need to excercise my fingertips.
There is a band in Milnerton but their flavour seems to be a bit too "country" for my liking :'(
