Hi all
I was searching for random guitar gear when I stumbled onto this forum - looks like tons of the questions I've had to hunt for before are answered somewhere on this forum - so I think this is going to be my first stop in the future, especially since it's South African! Decided to get the registration out of the way for all my future questions ? (procrastinating again I suppose...)
I started playing guitar round about the turn of the century - I've learnt everything I know from internet tabs, the occasional guitar magazine (man they're expensive!) and through slowing solos down so much that you can make coffee between the drum beats.
I can never stick to just one style so I mess around with everything from thrash to funk to finger picked classical - I don't take my playing very seriously, it's just a fun hobby. I often get distracted into playing cheesy theme songs...

I do most of my playing on my Ibanez Destroyer and on my classical nylon (Cataluña), while my Gibson Epiphone Strat-copy gets jealous 'cos it probably deserves more attention, despite it's identity crisis.
I'm staying in Pretoria at the moment, spending too much time on work and not enough on the guitar!
