@Yeti - Very, very nicely done!
Beeg thank you for doing some heavyweight trawling - I've got some trawling to do for the winners and then some playlists to make up.
Did come a cross this - Qrates for getting vinyls pressed. We're not going to, but for around the price of a decent tshirt ($15/ea) - one can get a batch of vinyl's done (min 100). Wowsers,...
Nice list @Yeti . Your tag brought me back from the dead. Last time a really played was when I did the recording for that one song. Since then life has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
RodneyVikens I'm in the same place. Just barely touched my guitar in close to a year. Been a crazy time.
@V8... that is quite a lot less than I expected.
There is still one more post coming... probably later today.

Right-o, let's start with 2021's winners!
Here's a playlist with them all, from most recent (Blues Challenge) to the Tribute Challenge
Blues Challenge - @studmissile and @Bluetone tied for the win.
Re-Imagine Challenge - Seven entrants for this one! All seriously good too - Tough voting. @studmissile with the win.
Line Cliche Challenge - @Yeti won with a great vocal take.
Songwriting Challenge. @Bluetone won with some sweet lyrics and a even better solo. Only two entries with @studmissile being the other, but both tracks were great.
The Lick Challenge - Sometimes you gotta throw the bass player a bone. V8 somehow won this one.
Acoustic Challenge - Was our most voted on challenge, and I think it was @Bluetone winning on debut and he won some strings too!
Mantra Challenge - @guidothepimmp won it won it won it
Tribute Challenge - @RCVN won it with a collaboration with @klaasvakie.
Dunno if I'm going to go through every single challenge for the other era's - but thought 2021 deserved some love (and I had playlists handy already!)
- Edited
Let's start with 2021 - I promise, I didn't read @Yeti's list before I made this one. But having gone through it before posting, I think 90% of mine are on his list - which is good, cause these are worth many-a-listen :grinning:
Way out of my usual listening genres, @studmissile 's version of Springsteen's The Darkness was one of my favourite covers in the challenges. The Re-imagine Challenge had great entries.
Same Challenge, @Yeti did a fun - I want to sound like this!
@guidothepimmp, @Bluetone & @NorioDS Had the best collaboration of the year? This Monsterously reimagined one has to be on the 2021 Album!
From the Line Cliche Challenge, @Yeti sang his way to pop stardom!
In the same challenge @klaasvakie did one of the best nursery rhymes I've ever heard in the challenges.
It was a pretty damn fine challenge, coz I'm mentioning @Bluetone 's entry as well. The verse riff has so much rock goodness, this track has to be on a GT 2021 Album.
@Bluetone 's debut in the Acoustic Challenge - reminded me of drive by Incubus - a very good thing. Killer Solo!
And I've already posted it, but to complete my 2021 nominations, @studmissile with Not Fair from the Tribute Challenge
Real good tracks, I'm getting into the potential Album!
Some super spelunking in the archives here by you guys. How the hell are we going to vote!? Waay to many good options
klaasvakie How the hell are we going to vote!?
Fortunately playlists can be infinite length , though in a alternate dimension, where we woul d actually press a vinyl record... that would be tough to get it down to 2x20m sets.
Saying it out loud, that does sound like a challenge - it's not only finding the tracks but putting together the ' like a vinyl ' playlist too. I reckon my a-side would be louder - rock/metal/ funk and b-side - country, blues, ambient,
acoustic stuff?
