To celebrate GFSA re-branding and 10th anniversary, we want you to write GutarTalk a brand spanking new theme tune!

What's up for grabs? A R1000.00 Takealot voucher to the winning entry with compliments from GuitarTalk.
Who can enter? Anyone who is a member of the GuitarTalk forum.

Entry rules:
Time: 3 to 4 minutes
Genre: Any
Tracks: 8 (Eight)
All entries fall into one category irrespective of skill
Entries must be original

This right you grant us does not diminish your own rights or ownership of your original works.

Where there is a draw on votes, a second round of voting will be announced for the finalists with the GuitarTalk Administrator holding the final vote in case of a second draw.

Exciting stuff! I would like to see an expressed statement re ownership of the music.

Jazzman105 not sure what that means. Can you give us an example?

I don't have an example handy, but it comes down to this...
I'm suggesting that the T&C's should include a line that clearly states that ownership of the work remains with its creator (the winner) and that the terms do not imply that GFSA has exclusive use of the work. The current T&C's just seem very open-ended ("unreservedly", "no limits").

warrenpridgeon To the best of my knowledge, there were at least 2 theme songs. @V8 found one of them via Google but the other one that @PeteM is MIA.

Sorry about the duplication... I got a rejection on the first one, so I posted it again and both were posted.

PeteM I've also had that little bug popping up. I get a "error creating post" box at the bottom of the screen and then thinking that that post failed I click post again - seems to make double posting, had that twice today.
