If you have never heard of a band called Petra, then you must have been living under a rock! (Excuse the Pun)
Bob Hartman is probably one of the greatest guitarists of all time in my opinion! My favourite song by them is called Beyond Belief

I have known him for years. The most Ironic thing was that Petra toured RSA in 1998 and Bob had retired and sent some young guys in his place.
The vocalist John Schlitt was awesome live, sounded a lot better than on the studio recordings.
So I saw Petra but without Bob.
I enjoy a lot of the earlier work, where he does a lot of acoustic guitar. "Petraphonics" is quite a good best of compilation

I am actually really good friends with the guitarist that they sent in Bob's place. His name is Pete Orta and he is also an incredible guitarist
