He won't ship to South Africa, I recently had a discussion with him about this as I was looking into one, here's an excerpt from my e-mails with him:

"I am turning down any requests to purchase a guitar if I can't without hesitation organize shipping for a repair if something goes wrong. For example in your case, I would probably have to turn down selling you a guitar... It hurts but it's a lesson learned from a few instances of sales with shipping addresses in the USA, but then ending up in for example Israel, Costa Rica and Australia (before we had representation there).

In the EU and USA, we simply take care of the repair ourselves, but in other markets, we ensure that have local representatives that can do it, and we don't sell direct to those markets."

Basically there's nobody in our country to handle warranty stuff if need be so he won't ship here.
