So I've modded/destroyed/rebuilt a Ritmuller Cash Crusaders jobby into a decent guitar. I'm sorry, but my linking abilities here for pics are horrendous. Check out the whole build process with picks here:

Thanks to the guys at The Gear Junkie - your talks were inspirational! Also your wiring of the guitar....

Nice! I've wanted to customise a guitar for ages... but I've only ever had one guitar at a time and I play every week.
Good work Daniel .... liked your tunes and vid as well ....a LOT ....
Thanks Attilah! It is the most fun to be had outside of a food fight. I'm not great at DIY projects, but this has been so fulfilling!

Smashocaster, bwahaha - that be real rawkstarr stuff..., congratz on finishing it! Though, I cannot believe that it split into two when ya dropped it, I'll admit this pic got a big LOL.

I'm impressed w/the generator - surprisingly usable clean tone when coil-spilt. That's a lower output neck pup (7.9k) that you're using in the bridge - I've wired mine similar & I like the way it works in Pos 2 with the middle SC. (in both split & hb).

A cheapie project guitar is sooo much fun. I've only got into doing my own mods this year. Heh, I'm making loads of booboo's, but the unexpected BIG bonus is I'm learning a lot more about what I prefer. This alone is worth the R800 I've got into the project epiphone (And it's playable...if not yet finished :-[)
Wow that is an awesome mod! Are those Ritmullers actually made of solid wood and not ply? Just curious.
Oh man are they really solid wood?? I have one. Didn't know that they were. This would make a great modding platform ?
Tx for the encouragement - yes, solid wood, believe it or not. No idea WHAT wood, though.

@v8 - My wife had a great lol, don't worry.
