It is with a heavy heart that I would like to inform all of my dear friends on this wonderful forum that our much loved drummer Jono from Tamla Kahn was involved in a devastating car accident last Friday.
One of his friends died on the scene and the other is in ICU with severe head injuries.
Jono is also in ICU with head and neck injuries and severe lung damage. Both are under sedation.
On Monday we learned that the Tamla Kahn band is one of the contenders for 'The battle for Wacken - South Africa'.
This was bittersweet news as you can imagine.
We have a fill-in drummer who is keen to help us out until Jono is ready to take the seat again.
We feel that we should keep the band on course for the Wacken Battle, and we really believe that Jono would have wanted that.
It has been a dark and emotional time for all of us, not to mention the families involved.
And we are all hoping for the best.
Keep him in your prayers.

Bittersweet congrats on The battle for Wacken, and I have no doubt the performance will be brilliant and dedicated to those past and recovering.
