Sweet, was just chatting to Graham about this yesterday. Should have guessed that Manfred was the organizer ? I reckon I'll actually make this jam!

THe Gear Junkie will provide snacks, coffee, tea, soft drinks and a few beers. If you drink more than most, bring more than most!!! Going to be fun folks!
Damn and again I am missing one of these get togethers as I am at casimi building my acoustic on saturdays. I'll be finished in a month or two, so I'll be sure to make the next one...with a handmade acoustic ?

that is going to be one of the greatest moments of your life! I am so jealous.
Will need lots of Pics and film in HD
I've got quite a few pics taken along the way documenting the process. As soon as we get to the point where there wont be a two month break between posting and guitar completion, I will start a build tread of sorts.

You're right to be jealous though, this building course is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done. well worth every cent and way way way way more.

I haven't been in a band for a long time and doesn't have much if a repertoire at the moment. I can play some good lead guitar though. Am I welcome or should I have a general idea of the genre/repertoire/songs???
                    Hi Funkadelic,

No specific songs, just jamming anything that comes.

you are more than welcome to come and have a jam
I will probably be there too. I'll bring a red amp and some guitars.

Hi Manfred. Please add Peter Rosewarne to the list of interested participants. Thanks. See you there.
Peter (Lead guitarist with the blues/rock band Slow Brew'd)

Songs include Cocaine, Before you accuse me, Hey Joe, Red House, Albatross, Sweet Home Alabama, Black magic woman, Evil Ways, Back in the USSR, Crossroads, All right now, Knockin on heaven's door, Smoke on the Water and many more.
Main guitar US Strat de luxe, hot rod amp and effects board.
                          Good song suggestions ?

                          10.
Realise now that many of the songs I listed aren't any good for jamming. Can add Hoochie Coochie Man, Further on Up the Road, Tore Down, Going Down, Rock me baby, Midnight train??
3 to 4 chord rock/ blues might be the easiest , but any other genres welcome as well, jazz, reggae..........
Looking forward to tomorrow, big thanks to Manfred for organizing the get together. Will be really great to meet some other gear junkies. Please feel free to bring along all your gear for us to drool over! We have a lucky draw for a few lucky packets filled with guitar goodies.. Sign in at the door to enter the draw. Cheers
this jam was pretty awesome, there was drummers and bass players as well, making it a lekker jam, and even some cops that showed up haha.

thanks graham for lending your place to host a jam
                                    It was amazing!
Well done to all who made it happen.
