Hey ? So the new gumtree right... not sure myself but new interface is ok i guess.

One thing I want to know, is how can i setup email alerts for keywords and such? i could do that in the old gumtree ui but cant see it in the UI... Am i a little blind or is there no way to setup alerts for products and keywords!?

They've done away with alerts by the look of it - even on searches. The RSS feeds too. Basically the two best methods of keeping an eye out for specific stuff have gone. The user forum is MIA too.

Looks depressingly like OLX and other half-baked sites now. Oh well, it was good while it lasted...

I was wondering if GFSA shouldn't buy some adspace from them for a while - nab their disaffected advertisers from them. ?

Probably their 1st version the missing links might come soon. Don't think its bad looking, clearer font and colors.m1cw
Looks fine, but the functionality is crippled for me ATM as I often set up alerts to keep an eye out for specific items and use RSS feeds to keep abreast of new additions during the day without having to visit the site (gives me a drop-down list of linked titles in Firefox). Maybe they will add the functionality back over time, but as is it's not conducive to me using the site.

I emailed them and got a vague form response about "improving user experience" or some such, but they did say "Our development team is actively working on continuous updates in the system."
Well for me, it doesn't show anything other than the sponsored ads.... And those are the worst instruments.... ? A Les Paul covered in flames?????? Really?????

Go to Adblock filter preferences and disable the filter that looks like this:
            ##.searchAds
Really!? No Alerts? But a why? What do you think is their reasoning behind that?
Oh and let me throw in a >☹ while im at it!
