Should be. But go to any local metal show, even some of the heavier rock and punk, at your local venue and you'll see it's not. Brootalz101 seems to be "scoop the hell out of the mids, max the gain, and just play white noise". Fortunately I have seen metal bands lately where I could actually hear the notes. So it's not everyone.

...ok, I wrote a moerse rant and decided not to post it. YEs, Mids, Mids, Mids! I just wish my fellow guitarist in my band would understand this and throw his Metal-Zone out a car window.
