I had an armed robbery at home about 3 weeks ago and the bastards stole 2 of my prize guitars! >

An Axstar by Ibanez AX40BK - black with H H config. Beautiful and very rare. I had it for about 24 years, manufactured only in '85 (updated model) and a BC Rich Warlock - Mick Thomson Signature Model also black. >

Seems if they only wanted only the "odd shaped" ones as there were another two Ibanez guitars also in the same room. A MTM2 as well as a RG370DX - yip you guessed it, both of them black. 8) They left these behind???

The really sad thing is no amount of money could replace them and unfortunately they are not available anymore. :'(
Just a pity I never recorded the serial numbers for them.

Why would they steal them? Is there even a market for stolen guitars of this nature out there?

Have any of you had your "priceless" axes taken?

Never had any stolen myself. Had stuff stolen from right near my guitar but it was left where I put it.

I've had US strats, a Martin D35 a Deluxe Reverb amp, PA gear, more stuff than I can count taken from me and it's maddening.

No, unfortunately no serial numbers were recorded. Never think it will happen to you.

Had pictures and they were on my phone and home PC (most of my family pics as well - backed up but they took the external drive) - all gone too. So unfortunately no luck with pics, etc. Using my work laptop at the moment.

My BOSS GT100 was taken as well. Should be able to get serial number for that. Must just check out the box and manual ect. and put it up on relevant social sites.
