As a rule I avoid alcohol at live events. I really cannot see why anyone would want to watch any show that they've paid for drunk?Joe Moore wrote: :-[ I was there 8) , Great show ! Saw a fair number of people absolutely motherlessly drunk and passed out by 6.30 pm :-\ wtf ?
Lucky f... ? I'm pretty sure we ran into eachother at some point, haha! Shoulder length black hair, blue-ish leather trenchcoat & boots ring any bells? ?symbolofmylife wrote: I saw them in JHB last night! Was beyond AWESOME!!!!
Oh, and got to meet the guys!!!!
Man, last night was awe-inspiring. I saw them in 2006 when they were here and honestly left feeling a tad disappointed. But last night was beyond words! They brought it BIG TIME!!!!Chocklit_Thunda wrote: Nothing grates me more than when a world renowned band comes along and play a rubbish show.

I blame it on the long lines for the beer as well as those cups that have handles, guys were buying 10 pints at a time......The same cups that were being thrown around in the general standing area.Joe Moore wrote: :-[ I was there 8) , Great show ! Guess who had one of those cups fly a few mm from his head. ??? Might've started in the general standing area but eventually the others decided to join in. Narrow escape, haha!flatfourfan wrote: .....The same cups that were being thrown around in the general standing area.
The KL totally did it for me as well......Explorerlover wrote: Loved the show and the chance to again see a bunch of cool guitars....
The "chrome boy" snakebite played by Hetfield was a disappointment, but man seeing that Kenny Lawrence Explorer again in real life was awesome. That, the Flying V's, the Jackson Rhoads and the black LP custom made me remember why I am such a Metallica fanboy..
