Hi all!

Stumbled onto this forum while looking for a new guitar.

I taught myself to play guitar about 8 years ago in my home town, Cape Town. The first song I learnt was Knocking on Heaven's Door. 8)

I play the acoustic electric guitar and lead the band at my church. I'm still newbie in terms of my knowledge but love playing the guitar - nothing better! I've been wanting to learn to play bass forever but I ended up getting an electric guitar for Christmas to challenge myself as a guitarist...I've got a bit lazy with my playing lately. :'(

I have the Cort MR-730FX Acoustic Electric and recently acquired a second hand Cort Z40 electric guitar and a new Roland Cube 15xl amp.

I'm hoping to learn loads from everyone here and hopefully be able contribute as well.

Jay, nice gear. Ja, getting lazy with ones playing from time to time is rather common. Hopefully you'll find some inspiration here ?

Well, my goal IS to get rich, but I doubt that's gonna happen with my guitar playing ....... ?
