Like I said in my intro thread - I recently acquired a second hand Cort Z40.

Now being the newbie I am to electric guitars...does anyone know somewhere in Cape Town that I get my guitar serviced/properly cleaned for at a good price? The guitar sounds good but I'm not sure of it's age and would prefer to have it checked out now.

Also, I have the Roland Cube 15xl amp which has some pre-set effects but I'm looking for an inexpensive delay pedal...does anyone have any recommendations for what I should get?

Stumbled onto this forum while looking for a new guitar.

I taught myself to play guitar about 8 years ago in my home town, Cape Town. The first song I learnt was Knocking on Heaven's Door. 8)

I play the acoustic electric guitar and lead the band at my church. I'm still newbie in terms of my knowledge but love playing the guitar - nothing better! I've been wanting to learn to play bass forever but I ended up getting an electric guitar for Christmas to challenge myself as a guitarist...I've got a bit lazy with my playing lately. :'(

I have the Cort MR-730FX Acoustic Electric and recently acquired a second hand Cort Z40 electric guitar and a new Roland Cube 15xl amp.

I'm hoping to learn loads from everyone here and hopefully be able contribute as well.
