....... For R800? Worth it or not? Any experience with this bass?

If it's worth anything I was saving up for an epiphone explorer or thunderbird bass but those sit at around R4000
and this is R800.....

Also If I do get this it will be my 3rd Cort... I don't wanna be a 1 trick pony
Well worth it at that price - they retail for R3,500. Basically a 5-string Jazz Bass with a humbucker in the bridge, so it leans a bit to the rockier side. Nothing amazing, but pretty well made.
Having 3 coils (single and humbucker) would there be any hum or significant noise with all on or just the single?
For that price, well worth it. You could barely pick up a Sante Fe bass for that price
Thanks guys! I tried her out today and guess what..... I bought her! ?
Seems like a good deal, congrats and enjoy her Dude...
Aaaaaaand now it starts making sense why it was going for 800.... Took her apart today and Lo and behold... the screws to the back cover had all stripped and were held together with prestick... Ok fine I've had a screw strip before.... "What else could be so bad that young Choc is throwing a fit?" you may ask...

The lowest string wont tube to B... The tuner is too loose... and to top it off... The wiring has been redone by someone and they ripped out the push pull active/passive bypass and switched around a whole bunch of wires for no reason....

:sorry: *sigh* you get what you pay for I guess....

She still plays well but I think I'm going to have to do some work to get her back to normal....
