For lazy bums like me, pretty sweet, you can copy the entire song with lyrics, chords etc. into the box then just select to which key/how many steps you want it transposed - it'll even try and guess the original key.
Could be a time saver.

What are you going to do when you play with someone and a few minutes before the gig they mention they want to try a song in a different key? Best to learn how to do it on your own. It can take you anything from a minute to 5 minutes... sometimes it can take you 5 seconds.

Have a baritone guitar and a capo handy?
Note: I find a lot of incomplete or plain wrong tabs on the interweb. The transposing tool will faithfully transpose any error in the file you present to it.

I find that trying to transpose by myself teaches me a lot of things, like the range of different instruments etc.
It's an even better learning experience when you're writing for different instruments.

Some time back i played with a saxophone player (tenor), and it really pushed me to transpose stuff on the fly.

I have no problem with transposing songs, but that mentality is like saying, "what are you going to do when your car breaks down?"
It can take 5s to 5min to transpose a song, but if you're transposing 10 songs (for which you have the correct tabs) why waste that 50s to 50min when you can have this do the work for you? Sure, exercise, then walk to work every day, it's much better for you and the environment.

I'd rather spend that extra time soloing in the new key.

            PS. Cool wheel Zohn!

Hmmm... I guess you're right Koning. I guess I was referring more to a musician who didn't use/need tabs. Perhaps one who would value the theoretical aspect/knowledge over laziness. To each his own -shrug-

I'm with you on this Evo. Transposing a song at a moment's notice is not the hardest thing to learn, but it is a priceless (not to mention essential) skill to posess out there in the real world. Tools like these are handy to have, but one should not become dependant on them.

Thanx Koning, I'll save that and use it. ?
I'm no expert and would need to practice a song in the new key before taking it on stage.
