Okay so I don't own anything that amazing or flashy but hey I figured I'd make one of these lists to for fun, or for the hope that some rich person will take pity on me and assist in my financial department for the purchase of some truly amazing guitars :)
Remember however that I'm only 19 and I don't earn that much so all my gear is pretty much stuff that I lucked into good deals on :)
Guitar 1.
My Ibanez RG 6-string - I have no idea exactly what model it is but it has been modded to hell and gone. It's had a fretjob and the bridge has been replaced with an original Lo-Pro Edge model. The Pickups are a Dimarzio PAF Pro in the Neck and a Dimarzio Tone Zone in the Bridge, the single coil is non-existant in the circuitry and was dropped into the body and left for aesthetic reasons, the two humbuckers are wired on a Schaller Mega switch P-model 5-way selector and it has had a Neutrik Jack installed. Odd point of interest I broke my whammy bar so my dad (who works as a quality control manager for Swartklip) had the R&D department at his work remake me one out of Military grade stainless steel :)
I'm planning on changing the pickups soon and I want to change the Machineheads to Chrome ones.
Guitar 2.
My Cort Neil Zaza Signature - It's versatile as all hell and cuts through a mix beautifully, has a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck and a Seymour Duncan Custom Custom in the bridge wired to a three way selector with no tone pot and a coil tap switch :). American Basswood body with a .16mm quilted maple top and ebony fretboard on a 3-piece maple bolt on neck.
Guitar 3.
My Ibanez RG1527 - I recently got this seven-string and I have to admit that I'm loving it, never thought I'd go this route when I started but it's really comfortable and I think it kinda suits me :) mine is a Japanese prestige model, new ones are made in Korea :(
The only mods I'm planning are a pickup change, a refret and if I can find one I'd like to get an original Lo-Pro edge bridge.
GT-10
also a recent aquisition, in my mind it completely rapes the GT-8 and the Line 6 X3 Live. had to sit with it for a while but now I can never see myself parting with it until the next one comes out. Far more responsive and dynamic than the GT-8 and it has USB!!!
My Amp
I happen to have an original American made Silver trim flat faced Peavey Bandit 112 with an Eminence Beta driver in it, makes all the new ones sound like poo and is definitly better quality than any of them, perfect for the clean headroom I need to run my GT-10.
Sorry for the bad quality images but I don't have access to a decent camera :(...[img][/img]
