I only found this place today after searching for some gear on the net. I have to say, it's awesome finding a place to talk about all things guitar related. And it's nice and local.
Some info on me. I have been playing guitar for about 5 years now. Before that I played bass guitar and I felt I needed something the same, but different. I own four guitars, one acoustic and three electric. The acoustic is a Cort but I have no idea on the model ?
Then also an old Ibanez G10 (I think, very old), a Gibson Les Paul Standard ( I got this guitar in the states three years ago) and then my latest adition, a Jackson JS30RR Rhoads.
I live in Mafikeng, North West (right next to the Botswana border) where I play for a band. We only do covers so far but starting to write our own material. I can play any style of music but prefer playing Hard Rock to Metal.
Well, thats me. Hopefully I'll learn a lot more on these forums.
