  • 'Flies' @ Tanzcafe this Friday night June 3rd

@ Joel

They were hot stuff, All three of them are hugely talented.
Highlight for me was the drum solo thing they do

Good stuff, well worth going to see
I'm not sure they'll do the drum solo thing this Friday night, Gavin had hip replacement surgery a few weeks ago and he's still on crutches....he's driving his wife's car because it's automatic. ?

Gavin's tone is sounding killer these days, a monster player as well, Brent and Denholm are just brilliant musicians.

Catch the gig you'll love it.
Eish I wonder why these type of pub gigs are always that expensive!
And why do I only find out about it the day before the gig?!?!?! I'm a fan of their facebook page and they made no mention of it there. I'm a bit miffed because, if I had more advanced notice, I would so have been there. These guys rock the shop fully and R100 is well worth it in my opinion.

You were there for the Gibson Relaunch? How was the drum solo thing? Incredible stuff!!!

Eish yeah it's a little miff!! Saw you jamming the pinecaster on Studio1! Looked good!

Yes I was and the drum solo was sensational. Actually, I suppose "solo" is not quite the term for it. To be honest though, the piece that really blew my mind was the bass solo. I can't say that I'm massively clued up on the local bass playing scene but Denholm has got to be one of the best.

Sweet ? Played it at Tanz last week too, awesome venue, great sound, cool crew as well
                    Correction:

I was just with Gavin, they will be doing the drum solo 'thing'...he's able to do it even though he's still 'injured'. ?
I shall make a plan to be there! They were amazing at the Gibson launch ?
Just a question, my only experience of Tanz was the launch. Is it likely to be so busy that I can't get a table or anything?
