I was just about to do my first pedal order from proguitarshop (they the only 1 that has the pedal I am looking for) and when I got to the checkout I could not use my credit card only paypal?
I have seen other forum members order from pgs, how did you achieve this?

just open a PayPal account - it costs you nothing.

I usually use my card from them with no problems.
Some shopping carts/payment gateways do have problems with certain of the local banks (and sometimes it's only a temporary glitch) and there are some merchants who will only take PP. There have also been sites that I'm not entirely sure about giving my CC info to, so I keep a Paypal account too - it's easy enough, secure, provides some protection against fraud and doesn't cost you anything.

OKay, PGS seems to be a pretty legit place to order from, I will try the checkout process further and see If it is possible to just use my credit card details. Otherwise I will attempt to setup a Paypal.

This might be useful to other members - I followed the checkout procedure and when it went to paypal website there is an option to pay with credit card if you dont have a paypal account. simply put your details in and thats it.
Hopefully the pedal arrives and no fraud is involved, last internet transaction the goods never pitched...expensive mistake.

Paypal is a must have in my opinion... It seems like I'm getting a better exchange rate through them also...... Not 100% sure, but looks like it.
