  • 100+ Gifted Guitarists You Should Know

I'd rather know any of the many gifted local players.

Cool, then put a list together, get photos, write-ups and video links, design a website and share the address with us ?
      @ Giggsy

This is quite a decent list although not exhaustive. Some very good players, and if you need a reference, it's pretty good

        Are you being sarcastic? ?

All I know is, Satch won't be sending me pickups any time soon, or give me an impromptu little Uke show in the bargain basement of TOMS...

Dude, if you could find 100 local, you would be a Wizard, a wizard who would put all other Wizards to shame, that would be real magic
One gifted guitarist I can talk to face-to-face is worth a thousand foreign axe-masters.
Or you could talk face to face with any good guitarist, and take geography out the window..........

The last time I had Satch over for tea, he dissed the missus' crumpets. I kicked his butt to the kerb.
the mistake is... you had satriani over.... if you had asked him to play, he would have shown you some silly scale really fast and expected you to be amazed.. good you kicked him out early before the disapointment

                    ?

                    Excellent
yeah... you should have invited Vai instead ?
Satch taught Vai, so it will be much of the same ?

Seriously - Check these guitarists out, Dont just get hung up on all the big names like Satch, Vai, Van Halen, Clapton etc.

I would rather have Warren Haynes around for tea, get some insight into his tone and Slide Playing ?
This is great! I'll definately be going through the list player by player!

I'm glad to see Pete Huttlinger on there!
has anyone here seen satch and srv jamming an unplugged blues sesh on acoustics?

theres more to satch than just noodles and oakleys and fast scales
                              9 days later
                              Where is don ross?

I dig this man so much

I'm not even nearly a Satch fan (I think he's boring), but this statement above is just a sad testimony of ignorance. I shall say no more.

After all this time and still not understanding Mika? ?
