  • Where to get decent, quality leather straps in SA?

I hope this is the right section ...

Anyone know where one can buy/order decent leather guitars straps in SA?

Have you tried the local music shops? TOMS, MC, Andy McGibbons?

Go to Music Connection and see if they have stock of Nic Slabber belts.

Mc has a large range of straps?

I picked up one myself, very nice ?
Marshall Music has some decently priced thick leather straps by Billy's Music. Made in Zimbabwe.
I make my own (and have made for other guitarists as well) +1mm thick leather, custom width or length... ?

My own one is well worn in... ?

Not to hijack the thread, but that's pretty cool. I've been wanting to make myself one because my dad has a ton of leather tools, however, I can't seem to find leather? Where do you get it from?

Woodheads in central CT (I spent an hour searching for the right piece last time, and the price is now absurd ☹)
