Absolutely! I saw a video of him playing "Gravity" live and I've gotta admit in the live solo he pulls it honestly just sounds like his guitar is saying F*** you, but in a very cool way. The guys got major attitude in his playing 8)

Now you've just changed it from a list of names he doesn't know to a list of names and bands that he doesn't know ?

I agree.

Besides those I've mentioned many threads ago I am a fan of Jimmy Olander for his great Tele work with Diamond Rio (probably one of only 3 "country groups I listen to just to and really just to hear the guitarist). Jimmy uses both a B-Bender and a G-Bender on one of his Teles. Everything a good supporting guitarist should be - always supporting the song!! Now again he lets loose and he has great Tele "chops".

How old do you have to be to not know Metallica?
They've been around for almost 33 years ???
Unless you not into Metal, like ?

guidothepimmp

nuno bettencourt - extreme
nuno bettencourt - satellite party
nuno bettencourt - drama gods
nuno bettencourt - mourning widows

I was just making a joke about the generation gap ? I'm sure he knows Metallica, everything else on that list must look a bit strange though ?

Oddly enough "Soulfly" and "Cavalera Conspiracy" are the only 2 that I don't think I have heard so I'm not such an old oom

Sonny-Landreth-fan

Sonny Landreth's my favourite guitarist. He has performed with legends such as Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson!
