Hey fellow guitarists..
My name is Craig, been jamming for about 7 and a half years now.. im mainly focused in the extreme death/melodic metal genre of guitar, im no good at much still, but it gives me a reason to keep on going
I started on a crappy old Fender look-a-like Starfire, which was really a bad buy.. (damn you Kyle) he he, then i got my first guitar for myself when i turned 15. It was a electric blue Washburn Mercury, which i got with a BOSS MetalZone pedal and it kinda started my sound.. I dont talk guitar lingo, cause i dont know it. all i know is the sound of a guitar, and when i like what i hear, i create my music.
I currently own the best guitar ive jammed on in ages... a Ibanez S 520EX.. SIC guitar, with a Marshall AVT 50 all valve amp which (in my opinion, murders most 150watt amps) has been my gig rig for over 3 years now..
Ive played in 3 bands in my time, the first being a punk band called "insubordinate society" didnt get far with my band mates getting high for the whole practice time, then my bro introduced me to his band "Final Solution", which was just what i was looking for, we won numerous battle of the bands contests in our home town, jamed at a couple festivals n' so on.. until he and the lead singer left, the remainder of the band (only me and my drummer) Started a Female lead metal act. "Affirmative Action" (and no, its not linked to the law in S.A) which didnt really go far, due to relocating..
And now im here, forming a new band with my bro on bass, me on guitars, and his bud on drums..
My Only Inspiration to even think of strapping up was, and will forever be the late guitar god Dimebag Darrell. His speed, intensity and way with them strings drove me to want to try out this alien instrument.. and i havent looked back since..

My first electric was also a Starfire. Still have it because it has sentimental value but, ja, it's a piece of crap! ?

Ha ha ha.. sadly my Starfire was burnt in my room lol.. (long story) he he.. I want to post some recordings, but i first need to record he he.. i need some equipment to get it off, but ill speak with my bro and arrange to record some of my riffs and ill post them up..
