Wow Conrad, thanks for the insightful comments! I really appreciate that you recognised that I'm trying out new approaches in the classical style. I'm glad you think it works!
Well done on the composition and playing.

My only crit would be that the recording levels seem a bit low so some of the details get a bit lost in anything less than a totally silent listening environment.

Are you planning on recording all your tracks yourself at home or will you be using a studio?

        I really like it.
Played it a number of times and each time it gets better.
        Leaves a nice aftertaste.

:bopping: - To my ears the recording and performance are a definite improvement - congratz!

Digging the your blend of blues/jazz/classical influences in the composition.

Exxxxcelent. That would at least mean that all the obsessive practicing paid off. Thank you.
I think I missed this one the first time around. Nice piece!

+1. The recording is far better - you're getting a closer, more intimate sound with a fuller, warmer tone. PLaying has also improved a lot, but there is still a little hesitancy here and there.

Great to hear! There were a few notes skipped in the middle section, so this will be my "practice along to" recording. I still want some more contrast between the runs and the chords. I used to put too much syncopation in the runs, and that took away from the "pause - chord" part. It's a hard habit to break though. Fantastic that the recording is improving as well ? Although, no doubt, there will be a day when I go to a professional and get it done properly.

Very nice composition, just my kind of music and played perfectly. Well done, can't wait to hear more! ?
