ne guitar one take? Or one guitar overdubbing? Sorry if its a stupid question...
Or you can pull an Andy Mckee/Don Ross vibe and do it all at once.. Personally, I'm not that talented and I'm going to do the overdubbed version!

But by the looks of things, i have to get my neo classical fingers out.. ?
I want my guit to sound like a drumkit!!!

Flip it over and bang on the back....

what about a Glam rock theme? or 70's heavy metal?
I might actually give this a try!
Are you allowed to use guitar fx (obviously not beat boxes), or is that considered cheating?
I did read the guidelines but clarity eluded me. If this challenge is guitar only, does that mean I can use my gt6? Specifically, if the answer is yes, how many patches am I allowed?
You can do pretty much what you want as long as it's your own work ? listen to some of the older entries. You can even add drums and other instruments.
Okay now I am seriously befok confused. Maybe I'm not explaining myself properly. I thort it was guitar only, including percussion ie jou must use the guitar to emulate EVERYTHING. Can I use the GT6 to help with this or must everything be fx-free?
oh, lol - this comp specifically was limited to guitar only. Check topic date...
Ja never mind that. I want to give it a shot anyway for shits and giggles. GT6 yea or nay?
Never mind. I'm not bringing my point across.

Tonedef It works like this. There will be a challenge topic. The first one is explained in the competitions, its Baroque and roll. You are to create a 1 minute (not a second longer) piece that may consist of no more than 4 seperate tracks (5 if you want to sing, vocals are free). On each track you may record one instrument only (so it could be synth strings, drums, bass and guitar for example). However, you are allowed to use 1000 patches on your guitar channel or bass channel if you want to. So Yay to the GT6. You can't record 6 guitar tracks and mix them for example. You are also not allowed to do covers or pre made backing tracks that someone else made or any such thing.

                            So yeah, enter. Its fun!
