hey there, i wrote this weird song, its so weird that i wont even peform it, but here it is any way to those guitarist that would like to try something weird for a change, i dont care about copyright, i'll never use this song. so do with it what you want.
I would love some commentry on how crap the song actually is. ;)

Nice little metal ballad you have going there Manfred - Of course it would sound a lot better on real guitar - I wouldn't so hasty toss it out for anyone to use - IMhO it has great potential and needs to be grown over time. I mean you've started in a harmonic minor, keep it going for a few verses then switch to the relative major for bit and end again in the harmonic minor and you have a ballad on par with For The Love Of God or Always With Me Always With You (depending how good your technical abilities are on guitar) - @ Seph Good old Sonata Form . ?

If i would ever compose this type of song, i wouldn't try adding 3 themes all together under 20 seconds.
I am writing a similar song at the moment, but this one is just the sections that got rejected.
And i knid of used a drum beat from trivium, it would be noticable to metal heads, so that would be a copyright issue, and it would be uncreative of me.
p.s: I've composed it in a few minutes, if that would explain the weirdness.
Have you ever tried speed composing?
Most of my best have been written in a few minutes!

Yeah I can compose pretty fast inputting on a piano roll view in midi - just kind of falls out of my head that way - I find it much harder to compose on guitar though because all sorts of other elements get in the way such as technique also I don't see the theory side so easily on guitar as on piano so I kind of waste a lot of time figuring out what the hell I'm doing. The guitar comps that I do are much closer to me because they are built on much more spiritual stuff inside me it's not book smart stuff so it's always hard earned pleasure.
