MIKA the better one wrote
Everyone seemed to hate the grammys....... But I reckon they were pretty spot on.......... Rap is big and pretty much selling alot more than rock........... Taylor Swift is extremely big (especially in the USA) so seems fair..... Even if she sucked and beyonce sucked, there are a few million pop fans who loved it, and thats all they cared about.
I just want to say thank goodness greendat didnt play, I think they are freaking awful, I would rather watch beyonce play an ibanez, through a multi effects unit with satriani than see greenday, they died about 10 years ago!!!
lol, you're kidding, right?
Greenday are brilliant, and alive, it's Rap that's dead...IMO
Taylor Swift should be banned from performing live, she's a joke....she cant even sing in key.
At least Beyonce has a great voice, and a great ass,,,,did you ever see her do the unplugged with U2...she can sing big time, she was awesome.
Dave Matthews was brilliant...one of the best bands in the world, IMO......
and the highlight of the entire show, thank G-d for that, was the tribute to Michael Jackson...."Earth song" is a work of art...IMO
Yep, I said it, I'm a HUGE Michael Jackson fan. ?
As for Slash, embarrassing to say the least....geez, what was he doing messing around on that stage with a little repeating lead riff and a guitar tone that sounded like a Line 6 modeller with speaker sims off...ridiculous what these guys will do for publicity.
And really, I think it's time for Slash to change the outfit, the hairdo and hat...come now, let's start growing up.
As for Jamie Foxx and his rap attempt....the guys a genius actor and a great musician, but that performance was shocking.
Eminem was pure genius...he's so far ahead of the other rappers it's ridiculous...I can listen to him all day long, I think he's amazing, gifted.
Finally, if I hear Bon Jovi do that song live one more time, I'll definitely go crazy...damn they've become boring...I really like them, a lot, but that song is so boring...not Living on a Prayer, the first one they did.
