We'd love to see something similar to Graemestock in Gauteng. The most important thing is venue - get that and there's enough shared experience and knowledge among our members that everything else should fall into place.
The venue would have to be:
- somewhere where a few amps can be wound up (or even a full band) without starting World War III with neighbours
- in a fairly central location so the largest number of members can easily attend
- big enough to handle the numbers attending
- have braai/booze facilities
- not a commercial venue where members will be reamed for drinks/eats (although there is nothing wrong with the organiser/venue owner covering costs by selling beers or hotdogs or something at a modest markup)
