Hello people

Used to browse here a while ago, but never registered, someone sent me a link now so thought I would register and become an active member.

I stay in Cape Town > Table View

Been playing for about a year now and loving every second.

I dont think a day has gone by that I havn't played. if I go away, i just take my acoustic with.

At the moment I have 4 Guitars:

Johnson Strat replica (This was my 1st guitar, got it as a 20th bday gift from my gf)
Sante Fe cheapy acoustic (Dad bought for me a few months back)
Epiphone Les Paul Casino Floyd Rose Patent (Bought by my gf as a xmas gift last year)
1981 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe (Also bought by my GF as a 21st bday gift)

The GF is busy shopping around for a new guitar for me in the range of 3k, thinking of getting a better acoustic

Amp's:

Started off with a Roland DAC-10, didnt do much other than make noises, nice little starter amp
Then moved up to a Masrshall MG15, nice little amp and introduced me to the wonderful world of distortion.
Now I am using a Line6 Spider IV 75 which was a xmas gift from my parents.

I'm loving playing all things Metallica at the moment, all their clean stuff anyways, not really that much into distortion, love the cleaner sounds

LMAO, yea guys, she is pretty damn awesome hey, she wanted to buy me the amp as well but I said nah.

And she is very supportive in my music, as you can see.

And no its not she picks I pay, thats all her lol, she even tracked down all the guitars. She even started playing a little herself which is the thing that makes me the happiest.

I'll post some pic's tonight when I am at home, or just link over to the Gibson forum where I have already posted pic's
