So I have been offered to join a band and I have accepted. I will be the youngest there. And I am very nervous. :-\

I think you would surprise yourself when you dont stuff up. Even when your so nervous your hands are shaking. But if you know what your playing well and youve gone over it 100 times, youll be fine.

I once when to a band practice just to watch, and one of the guitarists insisted I try his 350watt Marshall MF350. So I had no choice but for everyone to hear me play. And I played fine.

I am freaking out. I can't get the tone right for Aa song called say it aint so. I think my guitar is not suited for that song. And I am having trouble with a song called simple man.

I had to play just one song at a wedding, with vocals.
I practiced the song 25 times on the night before and got it right just once!
I was more nervous than the bridegroom, but as soon as I started playing I got real comfortable and played it perfectly.

I have been asking the drummer alot of questions I hope he does not get second thoughts of me joining :'(

I tend to do that lol. But I am feeling fine so everything should work out.

I am making progress. I have learnt the clean but of simple man(I was scared I would never learn it)and I have learnt the song by him called wicked game(Took me like 10 minutes very easy)

Well Done Ya Biscuit, the best bands in the world never started out tight they all had to work on it, so you will be A ok so break a leg and enjoy the ride. 8)

Dude it was so fun. They really thought I was good. I could keep up with them and just had a really good time. Very cool people. So I am in the band.

I have learnt a few things with the guitarist and It is easer to learn songs with people than by yourself. And they are such decent people.
